“ I recently celebrated my birthday at Cazbar, and it was truly the best birthday experience I could have asked for! They were very responsive and flexible with scheduling and making note of any changes during planning for a party of 14 guests. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm, welcoming ambiance set the perfect tone for our celebration. The belly dancing show was one of the highlights of the evening. The dancer was so mesmerizing, and her energy was contagious, making the evening even more special and memorable! For my birthday party, we chose the Sultan's Platter, and it was an absolute feast! Here's a breakdown of our delightful three-course meal: - First Course: We started with an assortment of delicious dips served with house-made bread, each dip was bursting with flavor and perfectly complemented the others. - Entree: The main course was a true highlight. We indulged in Moist Chicken Pirzola, Tender Beef, Chicken Kebaps, Sweet Jumbo Shrimp in the Shell, Farm Raised Turkish Spiced Salmon, and a Beef Kofte. Each item was tender, juicy, and rich with traditional spices. - Dessert: We finished with a Pistachio Baklava, which was very sweet, flaky, and the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Overall, Cazbar made my birthday unforgettable! The combination of delicious food, a lively belly dancing show, and attentive service created a fantastic experience for everyone. I highly recommend Cazbar! ”
“ I've been to the Baltimore Cazbar location many times, so I was pretty excited to visit the one in Columbia. I wasn't prepared for how ABSOLUTELY STUNNING it is inside this restaurant! This place is mood, darkly sexy even during the daytime. Plus there are a ton of decorative lamps in varying sizes (from average to huge) all over the place, super lush and comfortable chairs at each table. I was super impressed! Once seated, I was provided a tablet that served as a menu. I looked far and wide for the doner sandwich platter that I usually get at the Baltimore location but couldn't find it. When I inquired with the server, I was told they're out of doner anyway (hence the 4 stars). I ended up going with the Lunch Special Durum, choosing lamb as my protein. My food looked AMAZING when it came out! The lunch special wrap is gigantic. While the lamb was very tasty and the fries and sauce were excellent, I admit to be disappointed there was no doner today. Otherwise, good visit and I'm sure to return! ”
“ Situated in a corner lot of a strip mall, the outside leaves a lot to be desired. Once inside, you forget where you are. The décor is enchanting and dark, but beautiful. I attended my thrift friend's 40th birthday dinner last night. Good times with good people. Having a delicious dinner and an entertaining belly-dancing show was just the icing on the proverbial cake. Here's what I had: pomegranate margarita = strong, but good. grilled salmon kenbap (farm-raised salmon + steamed rice with Orzo, Cacik and housemade bread) = everything was served hot and flavorful. I really wish I ordered a second helping to go. If you're looking for something different and fun, this is it. __ I eat. @f.hux I thrift. @DCthriftish ”
“ We had a group dinner at Cazbar and it was delicious! Because it was a large group we did the sultan platter and there was MORE than enough food. The presentation, timing, and flavor were all great. My favorite were the beef meatballs. The ambiance is also great and unexpected for this area! ”
“ This restaurant is such a gem. Yes it's fairly expensive but you're paying for great food and atmosphere. Everything from the apps to dessert were fantastic. ”
“ First time here thanks to a sudden pop up ad in FB. Why didn't I know this place existed as I'm always looking for Middle Eastern food, especially when entertainment is involved. Here you have good Turkish food, comfortable & beautiful dining room and bar area along with a short belly dance show if you time it right. I highly recommend reservations, look over the online menu BEFORE you go (quite extensive) and if you are a larger group, order variety so you can try different things and whatever you end up liking, go back and order for just yourself. We were kindly greeted by the hostess who actually remembered me calling requesting a good table for the show (and NO, I did not pay for prime front row seating as I felt $50 was a bit much). We did get a very nice table for the 4 of us. Waiter was pretty good. He said to ask him questions which we did, but he wasn't as attentive with asking if we needed drink refills which we did. Couple of us didn't bother flagging him and just stuck with the tableside water. Timing of receiving dinner was rather long. We arrived an hour before show anticipating eating majority of our dinner before show time so we could enjoy the entertainment. BUT, seemed to take 30+ minutes before our meal arrived and temperature of food was not hot. Wondering if it sat in kitchen waiting. BUT, the food we had was tasty. I ordered meze, Ispanakli (excellent) and for main dish, Beyti Kebap. It was very tasty, but hard to eat for dinner. I first tried cutting it, BUT the knife was not surated so that was impossible. As I surmise after seeing in person, this looked like a sandwich instead of what I was expecting. I did try to pick up to eat like a gyro, But, too messy. I ended up having to try to unroll and eat meat inside and rip the pita since cutting was not working. Despite those challenges it was delicious, super filling. No need for side salad since we shared an app. My hubby got the chicken kebop which he enjoyed but felt the rice was overly salted. Luckily no salt on the table otherwise he usually Salts before trying. Our friends shared the Sultan's platter for two. They enjoyed mostly, but it was too much food. Their disappointment came at dessert time as they didn't realize you only received the mini Baklava and couldn't pick their dessert. Belly dancers that evening was good. She danced with the sword and we thoroughly enjoyed. When you look and see the opportunity to pay $50 for a "front row" table, it's not quite that. She basically does a short round to those tables and then stays on stage most of the time. For that premium reservation you get 1 scarf (belly dance with coins) and the opportunity to get on stage and dance for rest of customers. The group of ladies that did, I'd rather have not seen, but they seemed to enjoy themselves. Overall great time, good food and good entertainment. I suggest earlier reservation . When we were leaving looked like wait times for tables were growing. ”
“ Came here for lunch and noticed they had an Ketel One Espresso Martini machine on the bar. I thought that was really exciting and I asked the young lady who was waiting in the front about it. She did not recommend it. So note, if you're in a bar and you see the Espresso Martini machine, askb them to shake it and make it fresh for ya ”
“ There was a great atmosphere upon entering. The space is much larger than it appears on the outside. The staff was nice but was a little slow following up between courses. The food was tender and flavorful. The menu offered lots of options. I would definitely return when they have belly dancers. ”
